The developers keep insisting it's a building game and not a fighting game and so it seems likely to me that changes will continue to be made to alter the plundering situation. This game is in beta and is therefore open to change. ![]() My advice is do what you're doing and post on the forums. As will24 has discovered being there doesn't always work aside from the fact that it's not always possible and obviously it's impossible for a bronze/iron/ema age player to mount an effective defence against lma or ca troops. There is some advice offered on the forums every time this subject comes up that usually goes along the lines of 'be there when your stuff is ready' and 'mount a better offence'. But you are able to create a plunder immune city if you wish.I also didn't get my goods plundered, only gold and supplies until I'd been playing the game a few months but I'm assured it's always been that way. If everything was auto immune to plundering there’d be no point in having a plunder mechanic in the first place. They’re also limited to attacking once per 24 hrsĪlso, it’s not stupid to have some buildings that can be plundered. City shield, collection times, and out producing the plunderer are all defences against your opponent. Plundering raids one of their buildings (only the buildings that can be collected are eligible) and takes the production. It’s your choice whether the plunderable buildings are a good trade off from whatever else you could place in your city But you are able to create a plunder immune city if you wish. A lot of special productions are also so small that even if you’re plundered you’re still up on what the plunderer takes as you can fit multiples in the same space that a single ordinary goods building would take up.Īlso, it’s not stupid to have some buildings that can be plundered. Sets and special production buildings don’t have the motivation protection but they make up for it by being able to produce when not motivated (only so much aid you get each day). Statue of honour and Crows nest also immune.
